Simplified Creation Device of ZnO Nano Bar on Substrate
  • Have Zn vaporize in oxygenous environment to form vertical ZnO nano bar on substrate.
    ZnO grows rapidly along the C axis of crystal and easily forming a bar-shaped or whisker-shaped material. To enable vertically oriented ZnO nano bar grow on substrate, substrate is usually single-crystal; besides, the spacing between crystal lattices should be very close to that between C-sided crystal lattices (hard substrate or CaN substrate), or prepare Au catalyzer coat on substrate at advance.
    This device can create ZnO nano bar on hard substrate, as well as on silicon or quartz substrate without Au catalyzer coat. Strip-shaped ZnO powders can also be created.
